Making It Better Together is a free forum for artists of all kinds to share their work with others who are passionate about social justice. As founder of the site, I'm a professor by day, teaching about intersecting forms of social inequality. But in my free time, I write fiction and music. And over the last few years I've discovered the joy of collaborating with other creative folks from all over the world. I've been fortunate to work with artists from across the U.S. as well as the U.K., Canada, Ireland, Spain, France, Germany, Brazil, and Jordan, among others. And through those connections, I am reminded every day that we truly are Better Together. I believe that art has the power to inspire, enlighten, disrupt, and ignite positive social change.
